NB: This section is written by me (nicolas) and I'm not fully implied in monkey bubble's developement (understand: I didn't start working on it :-/ ). It must be considered as an information level section, not a core developper report. If ever you can obtain such a report from laurent, contact me and I'll send you a medal ;-)
First development priority at the moment.
Basically, network game is based on customer/server.
Customers connect to the server to play all together (the first connected customer is the game owner).
The game is controlled and watched by the server who acts as a referee.
End of the network code overview. Such a pretty short one, but don't forget it's open source...
Sound is no more a priority. Laurent is still following gstreamer development but focus is on network game.
Music is included since 0.1.8. However the sample played during game is not repeated when over.
If you like to play high levels with music, you'd better be pretty good and pretty fast ;-)
done. Meaning you can play 1 player game up to level 99.
done (on a single machine).
